Hollywood star Hugh Jackman has once again commented on gossip surrounding his sexuality by saying it’s “silly”.
The Australian-born 'Wolverine' actor said in February that the rumours frustrate his wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
Referring to this in an interview with 60 minutes, he said: “If I was [gay], I would be. I don’t think – to me – it’s not the most interesting thing about a person anyway, but I do get frustrated for Deb, because I see Deb go, 'Ah, this is crazy'."
Appearing alongside her husband, Furness said the gossip was “offensive” to their adopted children Oscar, 13, and seven-year-old Ava.
She said: "It is just wrong, it’s like, it’s a lie."
In December 2011 Furness, who married Jackman in 1996, spoke of how the celebrity gossip was “tragic” to the New York Post’s Page Six magazine.
